IJF "B" Referees Licence

Born in London in 1931 he began his Judo career when he was 8 years of age. He studied with M. Otani, T. Leggett and Kenshiro Abbe, along with many others.

He migrated to Australia in 1961 after having been graded to 4th Dan. Following this he retired from compeditive Judo due to a dislocation of both hips.

In 1985 he was awarded his IJF "B" Referees licence and in 1988 was appointed Manager / Coach of the Australian Judo Team for the Seoul Olympics.
